Harry D. Brown, born May 11, 1948 in Gassaway, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was a military veteran serving 27 years in the U.S. Air Force, followed by a second retirement of 13 years with the Shreveport Police Dept. and current Reserve Deputy with the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office.
Harry was an avid fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast and loved the Florida Gators. He was preceded in death by his father, Rondal and granddaughter, Gabrielle.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Linda, son Derrek, daughter Tonya, and 3 granddaughters Kelsey, Jordan, and Annabelle. He is also survived by his mother Muriel, 2 sisters Patty and Jan, brother Ronnie, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel officiated by Bro. Billy Flowers. Interment with full Military Honors will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park with visitation starting at 2:00 pm.
