Glenn was a longtime resident of Princeton in Bossier Parish, Louisiana after serving in the U.S. Army in mid 1950's. Finishing the sixth grade he left school behind to help support the family at a time when his father was unable to work due to injury, he was determined to make something of himself. When he was honorably discharged from the Army he taught himself to be a welder. His work became known throughout the Ark-La-Tex by many heavy equipment services to be high quality and dependable as he would take on any challenge set before him.
A self-made man that loved his family, the community and all the fishing and hunting that North Louisiana had to offer. As a faithful servant to Jesus Christ, he did not hesitate to share the word of God to any that would listen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.V. and Claudine Branch; and brother, Hershal Branch.
Glenn is survived by his daughters, Diane Trousdale and husband Bennet, Rhonda Maddox and husband Todd; grandchildren, Nicole Trousdale, Clint Powell, Connor Powell and wife Kelsey; great grandchild, Hayes; brother, Dean Branch and wife Bobbie and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Mark Scully, Bennet Trousdale, Todd Maddox, Clint Powell, Connor Powell, and Tanner Wroten.
The family would like to thank; VA Nurse practitioner Debbie McNamara, VA Medical Center Staff of The Comfort Care Unit, and Dr Christopher Snead Christus Cancer Treatment Center.
