Edith L. Manuel

Services honoring the life of Edith will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to service Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow services at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Honoring Edith as pallbearers will be Wayne Bale, Terry Joe Harris, Richard Griffith, Steve Fieble, Doug Burnett, and Brian Manuel. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy McMahan, Jeff Byrd, and Cole McMahan.

Edith was a member of Koran Baptist Church and loved to crochet, spend time with family, and read her Bible and daily devotional. She was a strong woman that loved her family dearly and prayed for them daily. Edith was a loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and great- great- grandmother. She had a full life and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Edith joins in Heaven her husband, Abram Manuel; son, Abram "Tony" Anthony Manuel; sons-in-law Paul Thomas and Robert Johnson; and granddaughter, Denise Kelly.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Karen Benoit, Susan Thomas, Irma Johnson, and Rickey Manuel; grandchildren Wayne Bale, Michael Augustine, Tracey Moore, Kristy Richardson, Shannon McMahan (Tommy), and Kelly Byrd (Jeff); 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
