Diane Gayle Wheeler

Mrs. Wheeler was born on February 9, 1943. She was raised in Shreveport by her parents, Glenn Massey and Hazel Saintignan Massey. She worked for Bossier Parish Library until her retirement. She loved her family, especially the grandkids and great grandkids. Diane was kind and generous to all who knew her. She loved the Christmas holiday, and this year she will be joining her husband David.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David Wheeler; parents; grandson, Michael Brown; brother, Pat Murphy; sister-in-law, Betty Hiburg; brothers-in-law, John Wheeler (Johnnie), Ray Wheeler (Eloise), Jack Wheeler (Annabelle) and Joe Edmonds; and sister-in-law, April Wheeler.

Diane is survived by her four children, Julie Brown, David Wheeler and wife Cindy, Mark Wheeler and wife Denise, and Patricia Weems and husband Larry; grandchildren, David and wife Sharlene, Lisa and husband David, Aimee, Nicki, Mark, Emily and husband Justin, Ben, and Dalton; sister, Janice Delarso and husband Fred; sister-in-law, Mary Edmond and brothers-in-law, Joe Wheeler and wife Vicki, and Frank Wheeler; as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
