David was born in Shreveport, LA on January 7, 1963. David loved his trucks and working on his yard with his wife. He adored all of his grandchildren and enjoyed the outdoors and mud riding, fishing, and riding his tractor and zero-turn. He always had to play with his grandchildren's ears and was always ready to share a slice of cake with them.
He would always have a contagious, positive attitude that his friends and coworkers alike admired. He inspired everyone that he met and was genuinely a master of all trades.
David loved his Peterbilt almost as much as he loved his family. He was able to get back into the gas and oilfield industry where he owned his own company, D&C Pumping Services, LLC.
David is survived by his wife of 32 years, Catherine Holomon; son, Jody Holomon, and his wife, Miranda Holomon; bonus children, Maria Westly, Rebecca Villard, and Fred Villard; grandchildren, Olivia Norwood, Evan Norwood, Isaia Villard, Amaya Sistrunk, Layla Holomon, and Emory Holomon; siblings, Billy Camp, Missy Punchard, and Becky Adams; cousins, Kyle Holomon, Sherri Holomon, and Donny Holomon; and numerous other extended family and friends.
David knew no stranger. His huge heart will live on through his family and we will carry on his name proudly for the rest of time. A true legend.
A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Hwy 80 in Haughton, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm.
