Joyce Ann Mohler

She was born in Alexandria, VA, on November 11, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Margaret C. Kondner Hornberger.

Joyce graduated from McLean High School and lived her entire life in the Northern Virginia area, until moving to Hinton in January 2012. She was an Accounting Clerk with Wall Shipping at Dulles International Airport, until retiring in January 2004.

She was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching and watercolor painting.

On March 17, 1962 she married Billie C. Mohler, who survives.

Also surviving are three children, Dr. Debbie Mohler and husband, Ken Campbell, of Hinton; Sandy Thompson and husband, Jeff, of Crozet; Billy Mohler and wife, Carolyn, of Reston; two grandchildren, Tye and Jake Thompson; and a brother, Harry Hornberger.

Mrs. Mohler will be cremated at Lindsey Funeral Homes and Crematory in Harrisonburg, and a memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Chapel of the funeral home, with Rev. Douglas Forrester officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
