William Lynn Solenberger

William was born February 24, 1946, in Franklin County, PA. He was the son of the late Harry Solenberger and Alta Solenberger (Hahn), both deceased.

William was an avid golfer and Notre Dame enthusiast. He graduated from Mechanicsburg High School in 1964. He enlisted in the United States Air Force after High School. Once he was honorably discharged in 1968, he went to work as a Supervisor for Appleton Papers for over 25 years in Camp Hill, PA.

You could always find William in his Man Cave, his office. Before he fully retired William also worked at South Mountain Elementary School in the Food Service Department. Feeding the students was very important to him.

Surviving is his loving Wife of 43 years Alice W. Solenberger (Everton).

Daughter – Donna Washington of Edgewater, Maryland

Grand Children – Justin Washington of Colorado

Great Grandchildren – Kimana Washington, Samia Washington, and Rhys Washington of Kansas

Sister – Nedra Keefauver and her Companion James Abbitt of Mechanicsburg, PA

Niece – Diane Keefauver of Mechanicsburg, PA

Niece – Lois Jean Gohn of Mechanicsburg, PA

Nephew – Larry Keefauver - deceased

Sister – Anita Barlup of Mechanicsburg, PA

Niece – Lisa Warner of Carlisle, PA

Niece – Emily Smith of Carlisle, PA
