

Ralph Eugene Bice of Bainbridge, Pa passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the Milton Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. He was 65. Born on February 2, 1949 in Havre de Grace, MD to the late Thomas Dewey and Evelyn Virginia Bice.
He was a graduate of Bel Air High School in Bel Air, Maryland. He worked a few years as a delivery truck driver before serving in the U.S. Army. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, he had several odd jobs including working for Coyne Textile Services as a delivery driver, before he began to work in the Custodial Department of the Donegal School District, where he was employed until retirement. During this time, he was also employed by Longenecker’s Hatcheries.
Besides being an Army Veteran, he was very involved in the school where he worked, a member of Mary Mother of the Church Catholic Church, a dedicated hospice volunteer, and CB Radio enthusiast. He was a dedicated pet therapist, working with his therapy cat “Colonel”. Every day he reached out and touched people’s lives for the better.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy Bice; his son, Gilbert Bice; his two brothers and sister: Thomas L. Bice (wife Lucia), William E. Bice, and Doris A. Waltz (husband Robert); a step-daughter Elrena Gibson; a step-daughter, Carolyn Cyms (husband Kenneth Dyer) and her daughter Carissa Dyer, daughter-in-law Mandy Flory (husband Steve) and their children Jolten, Tyla, and Doyle, several nieces and nephews, and a large legacy of friends and associates. He was preceded in death by his previous wife Carole L. Bice and his brother Jerry W. Bice.
Services will be a brief gravesite ceremony only, held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover, PA on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at 10:30 AM. Followed by a gathering at Elizabethtown First Church of God at 144 S. Market St; Elizabethtown, PA.
