Patricia Carol Hopkins Shepley

Born July 13, 1941, she was a daughter of the late James C. and Eva M. Hopkins.

She was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, Class of 1959. She received her nursing degree from Sinai Hospital in 1962 and worked as an RN in the Nursery Unit of Washington County Hospital for 27 years. Patricia was a member of the Waynesboro Moose Club #1191 and William Max McLaughlin VFW Post #695. She loved to crochet doilies and afghans; play skipbo; crab; and make smores on a fire during camping trips.

In addition to her husband Douglas, she is survived by her son, Michael Shepley of Maugansville, MD; daughter, Susan Orner and her husband Derek of Arnold, MD; and grandsons, Brendan and Cameron Orner.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. with service at 2:00 p.m., at the Wacohu Grange Hall, 16412 National Pike, Hagerstown, MD 21740 (beside Sheetz).
