Michelle L. Sullivan

Michelle was a Human Resource Professional certified by the Society of Human Resource Management and was employed as Personnel Manager at the McClure Company of Harrisburg. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University in 1994. Michelle was also a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Harrisburg program.

Michelle was born Michelle Lee Kirschler on June 23, 1972 in Rochester, PA. Throughout her life, the plight of homeless and abandoned animals was a cause that she pursued with passion. Michelle had actively volunteered her time at the Helen O Krause Animal Foundation, and served on the board of directors at one point.

Michelle is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Chadd M. Sullivan, her parents Terry and Marsha Kirschler of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, her brother Chris of Darlington, PA and his children Brent and Dani Kirschler.

A visitation is scheduled from 2 to 3 pm, Friday October 9, 2015, in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg. A brief memorial service will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that Michelle’s legacy be perpetuated by donations to your local animal rescue center or public library.
