Joseph David Victor

Joseph David Victor, 50, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in his home. He was born September 16th, 1972, in Harrisburg. Surviving are his beloved sons; Andrew Christopher Lewis and Joseph James Victor, daughter; Riley Ella Victor; his mother; Jane P. Wakefield and father, Joseph F. Victor; and brother; John Victor. Also surviving is his Stepmother; Susan Victor, mother of his brother Richard Victor and sister Stephanie Begansky.

Joe attended grade school at Holy Family in the Allison Hill community where he served as an altar boy for the church. Joe also played basketball for the Holy Family Falcons, baseball for F.O.P. at the East League and football for Saint Margaret Mary’s. Joe was also an avid skate and snowboarder. Joe graduated from Bishop McDevitt, but also spent his sophomore year at Central Dauphin East. Joe always cherished and was very proud about the friendships he developed as well as his experiences throughout his school age years. Joe attended Harrisburg Area Community College, which led to him being accepted by Penn State at State College. Joe would go on to earn his bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing at Penn State University. Joe’s journey would take him to Jenkintown, PA, where he lived in a community that he would grow to love as much as beloved by. Joe would eventually return home to Harrisburg, PA, where he would continue to carve out his niche with the revitalization of the Clover Club. He also created Victor Media Agency, as well as Victor Ventures LLC, where he would take on many endeavors throughout his life.

Joseph David Victor (Joe) was a sincere, committed, loyal and devoted friend and family member who was adored by everyone who knew him. Joe loved and was loved by almost anyone he crossed paths with. He had a heart filled with love and a charismatic presence that was unrivaled, unparalleled, unmatched, simply put EXTRAORDINARY. He was a cherished Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and friend to all who knew him. Joe you will be missed!!!

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 9, 2023, at 12:30 pm, at Holy Family Church, 555 S. 25th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104, with a visitation from 11:00 am, until the time of service in the church.
