Joanne M. Kohn, 64, of Harrisburg, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at UPMC West Shore Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Born September 14, 1956 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Nanette (Nimitz) Kohn.

Surviving is her daughter, Alexandra Kohn; brother, Jack Kohn; nephew, Nick Kohn (Elizabeth); niece, Tara Trapnell (Mike); 2 grand-nieces, Briana and Adalynn and a grand-nephew, Ayden.

Joanne retired from the Dauphin County Court House as a stenographer, with 20 years of service.

Joanne loved to run, she participated in over 50 races, including 2 marathons. She loved spending time and traveling with her daughter. Together they traveled to 17 countries.

Services will begin with a visitation at 10am followed by a time of sharing at 11am on Friday, April 9, 2021 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Serengeti Foundation and/or to St Jude.
