Your Dad was such a sweetheart.  Always smiling, laughing and gentle in nature.  He and your mom were like my mom and dad-lovable and in love. Maybe being of the same family is where that trait came from but either way what a pleasure it was to know them and enjoy some of their lifetime together.  They will be truly and deeply missed. Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary had a beautiful marriage filled with love and respect. To watch them was an inspiration. They looked at each other as if they were still in young love. I find comfort in knowing that they have been reunited. We love you and will miss you terribly.

Dear Cousin Paula, 
Dad and I are on the phone together; I just read this obituary to him. We wish we could transport ourselves to your side instantly.  Dad says to tell you he is going to miss him, he is a very loved brother by him. (You can hear the tenderness in Dad's voice)  I have sweet affectionate memories of him and Aunt Mary.  I always felt so cherished and dearly loved, even when  a decade had passed between visits.  I have particularly fond memories of my last time there, touring Gettysburg with his narrations. Priceless.
