Frances A. Shives

She was born June 28, 1932, in Harrisburg, daughter of the late Carmen and Maria (Orlando) Ametrano.

She was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School, class of 1950; Frances was a lighting consultant and showroom manager for United Electric Supply for 25 years retiring in 1997 and continued on as supreme commander in her kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her sisters; Ernestine Salandria and Lucille Williams.

Survived by her husband of 40 years, Earl Shives, son, Joseph Lopiccolo (Kathleen), stepson, Troy Shives (Cherry), stepdaughter, Susan Olson (Jerry), brother, Saverio Ametrano, sister, Rose Natale, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing will be from 9:00 to 11:00 Thursday November 10, 2016 at Neill Funeral Home in Harrisburg with Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 in St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg.
