It is with great sadness that the family of Debra Elaine (Blessing) Brinkman announce her sudden passing on January 4th, 2022 at the age of 68. She was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on September 14, 1953.
She was a graduate of East Pennsboro Senior High School. She loved to bake and was known for her chocolate cake with peanut butter icing and her delicious potato salad. She loved camping, vacations at the beach and spending time with her family. Her smile and laugh were contagious. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Debra is survived by her husband, Charles Brinkman Jr. of Frystown; sons, Robert McCready of Camp Hill and Chad Brinkman (Gabrielle) of Frystown; granddaughter, Elizabeth McCready; grandson, Asher Brinkman; brothers, Donald Blessing (Donna), John Blessing and Shawn Erdman (Meredith) and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Blessing Sr., mother, Peggy (Fromm) Erdman and sister, Linda (Blessing) Marsico.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap national Cemetery. A visitation from 12:00 PM Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
