He is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Gonzalez Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Munoz Gonzalez, 3 sons; Miguel A. Munoz, Ruben (Claudia) Gonzalez III, Rolando Gonzalez, mother; Maria G. Gonzalez, brothers; Horacio (Francisca) Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, sisters; Mary (Tim) Brooks, Dora (Bryan) Epps, grandchildren; Mia Isabella Gonzalez, Gilberto Escalon III.

Honored to serve as pallbearers; Miguel A. Munoz, Ruben Gonzalez III, Rolando Gonzalez, Horacio Gonzalez, Horacio F. Gonzalez, Alejandro Gonzalez, Joe Martinez, Juan De La Garza, Gunnen Craig, Armando Ortiz.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel from 1pm-9pm with a rosary at 7pm. Mass of Resurrection will take place on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 10am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Harlingen, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, Texas
