Shirley Diane Chard

Shirley Diane Chard, 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. She was born on May 8, 1947, in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Henry H. and Esther I. (Miller) Hullinger. She would best be described as a mother, caring for her family and home. Over the years, she was a member at Leo United Methodist Church, at Forest Park United Methodist Church, and currently at St. Joe United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, reading, camping, artistic and creative projects, music and singing, and especially spending time with her family. Surviving family include her husband of 54 years, Lynn Chard (married December 20, 1969); children, Lyndi (G.W.) Charles, Lisa (Brian) Harris, and Kyle (Rachel) Chard; grandchildren, Brea, Addie, Ava, Maya, Emma, Molly, Luke, Harper, Lilly, and Emmett; brother, Rick (Melissa) Hullinger; in-laws, Beth (Phil) Krohn, Kay (Gary) Leininger, and Ann Chard; and nieces and nephews, Sasha (Nik) Krebs, Keith (Jennifer) Leininger, Ross (Kyle) Leininger, and Emily (John) Flynn. Beside her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Larry Hullinger, and nephew, Ashton Hullinger. A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Leo Memorial Park, Leo.
