Pete Garcia Ruiz

Pete passed away peacefully at home in Lemoore, surrounded by his family, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the age of 72. Pete was born in Black River Colony, New Mexico on May 19, 1941. He was raised in San Joaquin and attended San Joaquin Elementary and graduated from Tranquillity High School in 1961. Pete was a retired Ranch Manager.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents Braulio and Carmen Ruiz, his 4 brothers Thomas Jose, Jimmy, and Roy Ruiz, all of San Joaquin and 1 sister Inez Ortega of Los Angeles.

Pete is survived by his wife of 28 years Patricia Ruiz, 4 brothers- Catarino (Monice), Abel (Charlene), Michael (Mary Ellen), Paul (Gloria) 4 sisters- Jeannie (Gene), Elizer, Socorro, (Tony), and Betty (Tony) 2 daughters Lisa DeRuiter (Dirk), Teresa Slaven (Len), and 1 Step-son Ray Wilson 9 Grandchildren Joshua (Bailey), Derrik (Severina), Misty (Charlie), Kristion (Ken), Mallory (Brian), Dylan, Robbie (Silvia), Ryan , Randon and William. 9 Great Grandchildren, Jayce, Llogan , Paislee, Matthew, Aalayah, Carlee, Leah, August and Jaelen and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Dirk & Lisa DeRuiter, 9907 18th Ave. Lemoore CA 93245
