She passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at her home in Lemoore, California with her family at her side.
Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, her brother; James Hilton of Madisonville, KY, her daughter Anita Henninger and husband William of Lemoore, CA, her sons Tim Grafton and wife Raquel of Reno, NV, Scott Grafton and wife Kathy of Brookings, OR, David Pleasant of Madisonville, KY, Steve Pleasant and wife Josephine of Lemoore, CA and John Grafton of Bend, OR and her 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Born and raised in Hopkins County, Kentucky, she moved to California in 1963 where she met and married the love of her life, John E. Grafton. She and John were best friends for 55 years and more. Mary
was a free spirit who loved country music, enjoyed camping in the mountains, and laying on the beach. Throughout her life, her greatest accomplishment was raising six children whom she loved with all her heart. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All through life, she was a hard worker holding one and at many times, two jobs to support her family. Mary was one of the biggest animal lovers! If she could, she would have saved every animal in distress. Mary had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
