Ken was born in Hanford, California on February 1, 1944 to loving parents, Buck and Pauline Stockton. He graduated with the class of 62 from Laton High School. On June 19, 1964, Ken married the love of his life, Cheryl Lee Dooley in Hanford, California. To this union was born three beautiful children, Lana, Jamee and Aaron. Ken served as Commander for the Royal Rangers in Selma, California for many years. He was a dedicated member of his church and served as Deacon for a time. Ken worked at Pirelli Tire Company as a Tire builder for 29 years. After leaving Pirelli, Ken and Cheryl became Antique Dealers and traveled throughout Central California and the coastal areas holding outdoor antique shows. Ken especially enjoyed deer hunting at Patterson Mountain and Los Gatos Canyon. He also enjoyed fishing and camping. He was an avid sports fan and spent many hours watching, coaching and supporting his children and grandchildren in their sports activities. He looked forward to spring each year when he could plant and work in his vegetable garden. Ken cherished the times spent with his wife, Cheryl raising their family and all their family times. Ken worked unselfishly to provide for his family and to help those in need. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Ken leaves to cherish his memory , his loving wife, Cheryl of Riverdale, CA; three children, Lana Starner and husband, John of Kingsburg, CA, Jamee Campos of Clovis, CA and Aaron Stockton and wife, Yolanda of Visalia, CA; his grandchildren, Danielle Starner, Eric Starner, Kyle Starner, Aiden Campos, Ricci Rocha, Sean Rocha, Ron Rocha and great grandson, Darnell Smith; his mother, Pauline Stockton of Nevada; two brothers, Ed Stockton and wife, Linda, and Wayne Stockton, all of Nevada; one sister Pam Hunt and husband, Larry of Washington, his two dogs, Lillie and Peggy Sue and many friends.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Laton, CA.
