Frank served as Airman Second Class in the United States Air Force from 1961 to 1964. He was stationed at Fairchild Airforce Base in the State of Washington when he enlisted then was shipped to Spain where he worked as an aircraft refueler on B52's ect. until his tour was up. Frank also was employed with The City of Sacramento Sewer and Water Department as Lead Man 2 for 28 years. In 2001 Frank retired and he and his wife Gloria moved to Hanford where they settled.
Frank was the son of the late Ignacio Ayala, Nicolasa Padilla and stepmother Eleanor Ayala. Frank is survived by his wife Gloria Ayala and his two children, Michelle Crites and her husband Charles of Indiana and Ignacio (Larry) Ayala of Sacramento. Frank was the proud grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and Rosary for Frank will be held on Friday September 9, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with Rosary taking place at 6:00 p.m. at People's Funeral Chapel, 501 North Douty Street, Hanford, California 93230. Funeral Mass will held on Friday September 10, 2021 at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1005 N. Douty St, Hanford, California 93230. His interment will take place following the Mass at Mendocino Cemetery, 7392 S. Mendocino Ave, Parlier, CA. 93648.
