Debra Lee Kaylor, age 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia surrounded by her love ones. She was born in 1954 to Alfred and Mary Kaylor and grew up with her six brothers and sisters in Hanford. She was employed at Shelly Baird School where she worked as a teacher’s assistant for students with special needs. Debi took great pride in her work with the children and loved each one of them as her own. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and she never missed an opportunity to attend Farmer’s Market on Thursday nights in Hanford where she loved interacting with her community, friends and family.
Debi was a loving and caring person with such a beautiful soul. She loved everyone to the fullest and never met a stranger. She was an angel in disguise, and we are so blessed to have known and loved her. She will be deeply missed.
Debi is survived by her three children, Rebecca Garnica and her husband Gilbert of Hanford, Amanda Kaylor of Hanford, and Phillip Kaylor and his wife Debbie of Nebraska; nine grandchildren, Samantha and Hadleigh of Hanford, Jessica of Corcoran, Paul of Klamath, Christina and her husband Matthew of Colorado, and AJ, Miranda, Michael and Wanda of Nebraska; many great grandchildren; one sister, Jackie and her husband Donnie of Texas, four brothers, David, Dennis and wife Frances of Oregon, Johnny and Bobby of Armona; and numerous nieces and nephews. Debi is preceded in death by her father Alfred Kaylor, mother Mary Kaylor, sister Peggy Olea, and grandson Michael of Arizona.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 23, 2022 from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty Street in Hanford. There will be a service by Pastor Paul at 9:30 a.m. Then a gravesite service will follow at 11:00 at the Hanford Cemetery, 321 S. 10th Avenue in Hanford.
