Audrey Mae Jordan

In 1936, James moved his family to Oakland, California where she attended and graduated from McClymonds High School.

Audrey met and married Odeal Jordan in 1943. During her life, Audrey gave birth to seven children: 2 girls, Marjorie and Laura and 5 sons, Morris, Jerry, Kenneth, Alan, and Wayne.

In 1957 she moved her and her children to Los Angeles, California. In 1961, Audrey began her nursing career and was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 32 years, retiring in 1993.

Audrey grew up attending Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church in Oakland, California. In 1980, Audrey joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she remained a faithful member until her passing.

Audrey's parents and siblings Aunt Myrtice, Uncle George, and James Jr. preceded her in death. Three of Audrey's children also preceded her in death: Alan, Morris, and Marjorie.

Audrey leaves to mourn four children: Laura, Jerry, Kenneth, and Wayne. She also leaves to mourn 28 grandchildren, a host of great grandkids and great great grandkids, a host of nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law: Vivian Victor and Opal Hall, four daughters-in-law: Debbie, Jackie, Cora, and Betty, and a host of cherished friends and loved ones.
