Ariel Macalindong Eguia

Ariel Macalindong Eguia, age 38, passed away March 22nd, 2017 at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California. He was born on May 14th, 1978, in Calaca, Batangas, Philippines to Alicia M. and Raymundo L. Eguia. Growing up in the Philippines, Ariel attended Saint Francis Business High School in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. He continued his education at Saint Francis College in Las Pinas, Philippines, the same city where he also attended and graduated from the AMA Computer Learning Center. He married May Yang on December 6th, 2003; the two were married for 14 years, and she survives. Also surviving are: his parents, Raymundo L. and Alicia M. Eguia of the Philippines; three brothers, Raymond M. Eguia of Japan, Rhuel M., and Alvin M. Eguia of the Philippines; a sister, Rhea Liza M. Eguia of the Philippines; and three children, Raymond J., Adam T., and Alexis J. Eguia.

Ariel was an outgoing, friendly, and caring man who treasured his family and friends. A loving husband and devoted father, Ariel shared his warm-hearted nature through his cooking, singing, and in the care he bestowed upon his family. His generosity and essence left a positive impression on all who knew him. Family, friends, and others whose lives Ariel touched are invited to the People’s Funeral Chapel, 501 N Douty St, Hanford, CA 93230, for visitation on April 11th, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and April 12th, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. After visitation on April 12th, funeral service will commence at 12:00 p.m. followed by his burial.
