Stacy was born January 3, 1966 in Trenton, NJ and lived the life of a military brat until her father finally retired at Langley Air Force Base. She then settled in Hampton, Virginia for most of her life, with the exception of the last 7 years in which she lived in Yorktown, VA.
She is a graduate of Hampton High School and attended Christopher Newport University for Computer Science.
Stacy had the gift of gab and a boisterous laugh. She could make friends with anyone anywhere. She loved all things sparkly and colorful like her personality, and spoiled everything she loved to a fault. She was kind, but would not hesitate to put you in your place if you were out of line. Her true legacy left behind was her love for her family and cooking amazing food, which she passed on to her sisters and their children. Our love of delicious food came from her; this girl could cook her heart out and entertain!
She is now reunited with her Mother and Father, Marlene Eldridge Stawecki and George Anthony Stawecki; her loving Husband, Michael Thomas Bevis; and Brother, Bryan Stawecki. She is survived by the loves of her life, her beautiful children, Jordan Anthony Stawecki and Cameron Stawecki. She leaves behind her heartbroken sisters, Laura Stawecki, Danielle Alexis Weisner, and Melanie Stawecki; and nephews, Brandon Hamby and Chandler Robertson, who are going to miss the “coolest of the aunts”.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 7th, in the chapel at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA. Please, let us honor her vibrant spirit and life by wearing colorful clothes; Ladies, wear something sparkly! Let us memorialize her with our fond memories and laughter. In the end, all that remains is LOVE.
