She was born on February 11th, 1963, in Hampton, Virginia to Benjamin "Lloyd" and Mildred Jean Morris. She was the second oldest of her siblings; Alecia Morris, Benny Morris Jr., Robin Powell (Gary Powell), and Angel Johnson (Billy Johnson). She is survived by her children; William Morris, Amy Renae Morris (Brandon Fletcher), and Hollie Goodson; and also by her boyfriend Stephen Johnson. She was the kindest and most loving Nana to her eight grandchildren; Eithen, Daniel, Mikela, Hope, Faith, Abigail, Aiden, and Ilaria and to her nieces; Jayla and Cayla. She was retired from being a Hampton City school bus driver for over 18 years.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Chapel at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home in Hampton. Sherry will be laid to rest in Walstonburg, NC at Walstonburg Cemetery on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
