Patricia Ann Youngs

Pat was a student nurse at Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis in 1948. In December of 1949 she married Air Force Corporal James W. Youngs and accompanied him on his assignments across the United States and France. She was a strong capable military spouse and made many lasting friendships in their travels. She worked more than thirty-five years as a Red Cross Volunteer at Langley Air Force Base.

Pat loved her family and enjoyed her grandmother role and being known as Grandma, Nana, or Grandma Pat.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Norval and Alice Malchert and step-father, Dr. Isaac F. Seeley. She is survived by her husband, James W. Youngs; sister, Audrie Johnston of Longmont, CO; three sons, Kevin (Vicki) of Kent, Washington, David (Faye) of Hampton, Larry (Delina) of Del Ray Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 24, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 25, at Parklawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Salvation Army.
