Pamela is survived by her mother, Suzanne Elizabeth Thomas (and stepfather, Mickey Thomas) of Smithfield, Virginia; brother, Scott Eugene Logan of Gates, North Carolina; sister, Kara Janae Ankeney of Poquoson, Virginia; and her beloved twin sister, Tamara Lynn Logan of Hampton, Virginia. She also leaves behind two nieces; two nephews; and one great-niece.
Pam graduated from Phoebus High School along with her service dog, Wuppy, the first service dog allowed within the high school. While she was small in size, she had a big heart and an enormous personality that barely fit in her little body. Pam was very outgoing and never met a stranger. She was very active as both a competitor and supporter of Hampton Special Olympics. In addition to her muscular dystrophy, Pam faced many obstacles in her lifetime, but she met every challenge on her own terms with a smile on her face and fire in her heart.
She was fiercely loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
A visitation and a Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, starting at 2:00 PM EST. All services are held at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave. Hampton VA 23666.
Attendees are encouraged to wear purple, which was Pam’s favorite color.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations made in Pam’s name to the Peninsula Muscular Dystrophy Foundation (www.mda.org).
