She fought the good fight and will lovingly be remembered by her seven children, 19 grandchildren and over 30 great grandchildren. Her sweet spirit will be missed as she has joined her loved ones gone before, but her example shines on.
Nancy played an integral part in founding New Covenant Church in our home in 1957. She led joyful, heartfelt worship, preparing the atmosphere for the move of God. She supported and encouraged her husband and the saints while visiting in their homes, hosting many ministers in our home, managing the family farm and home, and selflessly giving her time in so many ways. Above all, she was a fervent prayer warrior, laying the groundwork for the success of New Covenant Church locally, regionally and globally. God's grace and blessings were manifested in her life over and over.
She was a faithful, loving mom who taught us the importance of loving God and loving others. She showed us by example how to demonstrate the love of God in practical ways. She exhibited strength in the face of adversity after our dad passed in 1979. She continued her calling in worship and raising seven children, all of whom love Jesus too! We are so grateful to have had her as our mother.
Truly as the Mother of the church, she loved, she served, she prayed, she gave, she moved in the gifts of the Spirit and she lived her life as a testimony to the grace of God. She loved the saints and they knew it. May her testimony live on.
"Her children rise up and call her blessed and her husband praises her. Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.”
