Matthew Neil

Matthew Eugene Neil, 45, of Hampton, Virginia passed away October 27, 2019. Matthew was born on May 19, 1974, in Summersville, West Virginia. He was a loving husband and father, and adored spending time with his two daughters. He loved music and had a passion for guitar. Through the entirety of his life he was a devoted follower of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Wendy Neil, his daughters, Summer Neil and Cassidy Neil, his brothers, Steve Wilson and Tony Wilson, his mother, Sandra Wilson, his aunt Wilma (Kevin) Thomas, his uncles Jeff Neff, Tom Neff, Tim Neff, Larry Neff, and Bobby Mundy, and many lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, Hampton. A service will follow at 12:00 p.m.
