Mary Furlong Edler

Molly was a member of the Daughters of the British Empire and the Transatlantic Brides and Parents Association. She retired from the Royal Insurance in Liverpool, England. Her hobbies were sewing, reading, gardening and crafts. She was an avid cat lover. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Molly was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Edler Tucker; her parents, John and MaryJane Furlong; her sister, Catherine "Kath" and husband, Gerry Sherlock; her brother, Pat Furlong; and her cousin, Mary and husband, John McCarthy.

Molly leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Kathleen J. Edler; her granddaughter, Ashley Tucker Rogers and husband, Mark; her granddaughter Stephanie L. Tucker; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Thanks to all of Molly's caregivers and a special thanks to Kenneth Teachey, Visiting Angels and Melynda Golla for all of their loving assistance.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 6 to 7:30 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration Mass will be on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 512 Buckroe Avenue, Hampton. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton.
