He was born January 28, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA. The family moved to Southampton, PA. when he was in elementary school and he later graduated from William Tennent High School in 1961.
He graduated from West Chester State College, now University and attended graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond.
Harry was an honorable Vietnam Veteran serving with the 101st Airborne Division.
He worked for the Court System in Bucks and Chester Counties and retired from the State of Virginia as Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Director.
He was a loving husband, father, brother and son as well as a proud Veteran. He was an enthusiastic runner and avid reader. He was both knowledgeable and spiritual.
Harry is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Bishop Ayer. His children are Sarabeth (Dave), Jonathan (Lauren), and Suzanne (Josh). He is the grandfather of two boys Bishop and Ronin and two girls Marylynne and Maple.
