She was born and raised in Hampton, VA, and was a peninsula resident for most of her life. She was a dedicated employee of Hampton City Schools for 30 years and touched many lives through her work. She loved helping people and was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. She will be missed by many.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, Luther L. Crockett and Frances Crockett (Hollingsworth); and four siblings, Luther Lee Crockett, Thomas H. Crockett, Ernest W. Waldon, and Mary Ruth Waldon.
She is survived by her loving partner, Darel Lambrisky; children, Michael T. Ryan and Jennifer Botzler (Matthew); brother, Ray Waldon (Patricia); grandchildren, Samantha Botzler and Ryan Botzler; nephew and niece, Michael Waldon (Tonya) and Allyson Rodriguez (Edgar); and many friends who she considered family.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
