Shannon was a devoted cook at the kitchen hospital for 20 years, where she was known for her ambitious and warm-hearted nature. Her colleagues and the patients she served cherished her, not only for her delicious meals but also for her unwavering compassion and dedication.
A faithful member of the Church of Christ, Shannon’s spirituality and faith were guiding lights in her life. She was an active participant in church activities, always ready to lend a helping hand and support her fellow congregants.
Shannon is survived by her loving mother, Lily Hudson; her brother, Kevin Hudson, and his wife, Sheila Hudson; and her two cherished nieces, Allyson Reneau and Kayden Hudson, a nephew Don Reneau and three great nephews Rider and Daxton Reneau and Hudson Campbell. She was preceded in death by her Father, Kenneth Hudson, Grandparents Oscar and Marylee Pierce Balzen and Grandparents Edmond and Thelma Hudson.
Shannon will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generosity, and her unyielding love for her family and community. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Shannon’s life on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11AM at the Park Heights Church of Christ Annex building. Pete Jordan and Foy Forehand will be officiating.
Rest in peace, Shannon. You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
