John William Loden, 66 of Hamilton, peacefully passed away in Waco with family by his side. John was born August 10, 1954 in Blyth California to Zena Maude Whistler and Jimmy Morris Loden. John lived most of his life in Evant, Texas before moving to Hamilton where he resided with his wife, Reta. He was an amazing welder at Kalyn Seibert in Gatesville for over thirty years before moving on and finishing out his career with C&F steel in Hamilton. He had a love of fishing, hunting, and gardening; especially growing his peppers. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Reta Loden; one son, Sam McGee of Hamilton; two daughters: Amanda Loden Easterling and spouse Daryl of Ketchikan, Alaska and Michelle Gray of Hamilton; 8 grandchildren: Bobby, Addy, Jazmine and husband Peyton, Candace, Emily, Lilly, Sadie and Aubrey; 3 Great Grandchildren: Melanie, Braelynn, Ziliah and one on the way (Alaia Rain). He is also survived by his siblings: Jim Edwards, Bert Cole and husband Dickie, Anna Bell; and by many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister and several other family members. Johnny Bill was a wonderful, hardworking man loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
