Fay Gordon, 94, of Evant, passed away on Monday, June 9 in Goldthwaite. Funeral Services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 12 at Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 11. Fay was born May 18, 1920 in Hamilton County to the late Walter and Edith Newsom. Fay is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Altus Gordon, one sister Ora Knight & her husband J.C. (Happy) Knight. One great nephew Brad Burrows. She is survived by two nieces; Anita & husband Gary Purcell of Bangs, TX, Linda Kay Burrows & husband Bill of Denver, CO. One great nieces; Kim Loflin and husband Marty of Corsicana. Great nephew; James Purcell & wife Disa of Goldthwaite. Two Great-great nieces Taylor Leann Loflin of Corsicana & Brittianey Purcell of Goldthwaite. One Great-great nephew Tommy James Purcell of Goldthwaite.
