Funeral services will held Friday February 25, 2011 at 10:00 am in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Reich officiating. Burial Followed in the Oakwood Cemetery .
Dorothy was born September 4, 1930 in Aleman to the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Herman and Vera Lornea Klatt Endebrock. She was a 1948 graduate of Jonesboro High School and then went on to The University of Texas Nursing School where she earned her registered nursing certificate. She married Kirby Lilljedahl in 1951 and shared many loving years together. She was first a full time wife and mother until her children were grown. She then went back into nursing and loved to take great care of her patients.
Dorothy was a devout Christian and taught Sunday school most of her adult life. She was an accomplished seamstress, and had a green thumb for growing plants. Two of her many hobbies were interacting with birds, and collecting dolls.
Survivors include; her children, Joy Lilljedahl from Dallas, Dale Lilljedahl from Dallas, and Lori Shaw and her husband Mike from Round rock. She is also survived by her siblings, Joann Snider and her husband Bill of Dimmit, Elton Endebrock and his wife Margie of Georgetown, Dawn Goolsby of Dimmit, and Sharon Young and her husband James of Harker Heights.
