Bobby Ray Massingill was born March 18, 1948 in Hamilton, Texas to Big Jack and Skip Massingill. After graduating from Hamilton High School he married Sandra Darlene French July 2, 1966. They had three sons and soon after moved to Lewisville, Texas. Bobby worked for Austin Bridge Company and H. B. Zachry Construction Company. He was a very dedicated employee and an even more dedicated husband and father. His love for Sandy and his babies was so very strong. Bobby was very involved in every aspect of his family. His life was constantly being altered by life events. Losing Sandy in September of 2006 was a major turning point. Bobby’s family and friends held him tight so he could continue to be a major part of their lives. Bobby eventually went back to work for Zachry on a job in Lockhart, Texas. This is when he met Judy Powell and their friendship quickly grew into a loving bond. Judy and Bobby were married January 7, 2012 and although they had only a short time together, their love was very, very strong. Bobby was truly blessed to have had two wonderful loves in his life.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sandy, his sister Jackie, his brother David Earl and nephews Lil David and Chris.
