Ann is survived by her nephew, Charles Johnson, his wife, Dawn
Johnson and their children Colter and Emma Johnson all of Hamilton, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Painter
Johnson and Francis “Frank” Marion Johnson as well as her
brother John Brian Johnson all of Hamilton, TX.
During her life, she wore many hats, working in retail, as a
teacher, as a realtor and of course as a cattle rancher.
She was passionate about many activities she was
involved with in Lubbock, including serving on the
West Texas Home Builders Auxiliary Board of Directors,
the Texas Tech University Museum Association Board
and also served as the Director of the Lubbock Association of Realtors.
She prided herself in following in her father’s footsteps as a
cattle rancher and remained an active stockholder in
US Premium Beef until her death. Annie was always
the first to volunteer and her Christmas parties that she
hosted in her home for the West Texas Home Builders
Association were always the event of the year.
Services will be held in Hamilton, TX, at Riley Funeral Home
chapel Monday October 16 2023 at 10:00AM. All are welcome
to attend and celebrate her life.
