Zofia “Sophie” Fedorowicz (nee Piskorowski)

Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 at the Georgian Bay Seniors Lodge in Penetanguishene. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Stanislaw “Stan”. Beloved mother to Mark and Barbara (Stan). She is pre-deceased by her siblings Stanislaw, Michal, Jozef, Janek, Marysia and Wladyslaw. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and family in Canada and Poland. Zofia was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada to join her brother Jozef and to seek a better life. She was most happy surrounded by family and friends and hospitably welcomed them into her home. Many thanks to the loving staff at the Georgian Bay Seniors Lodge who cared for her for the last few years. Due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees. Visitors are required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Visitation at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East, Hamilton, on Friday September 3 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm with Vigil Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church, 8 Saint Ann Street, Hamilton on Saturday September 4, 2021 at 9 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
