It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Father, Friend, Pappa and Great Pappa. Our dad suffered for many years with Dementia and with his family by his side he is finally out of pain and now is together with his one true love, our late mother Doreen Lillian (1999).
Willis is survived by his six children Jeff (Char), Kathy, Cheryl (Gary), Sandy (Gary), Wendy, Lori (Paul). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, Ryan (Megan), Krysta (Jimmy), Ashley, Lacey, Kyle, Steven, Sarah, Kristen, Gary (Abbie), Daniel, Carly (Luke), Shantel, Shawn, Shannon (Mike), Paul, Stephanie (Cameron) and ten great grandchildren, Ryker, Daisy, and Charlotte Powell, Quinn and Kylie Babin, Cruz and Harlee Skrtich, Dawson Arnott, Isaac Bevington and Hailee Adoranti-Clinton. Willis was also predeceased by his parents Hazel and Willis and brothers Garnet, Wilbert and Len (Pauline). He is survived by his three sisters Marilyn (Jim), Carol (Pete) and Gwen (the late Ab), brother Gordon (Judy) and sisters in law Barb and Mary. Willis will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. We would like to thank the staff of St Joes Villa for the care and support they have given our father. Also thank you to Dr Boyd for all of your help and guidance. A very special thank you to Reverend Dwayne Ratzlaff.
Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday, March 27 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm . Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11am. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. Please in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society in memory of our father would be appreciated.
