Matriarch. Definition: a woman who is powerful within a family. The glue that binds. A love that is profound in its beauty and irreplaceable in its value. Theresa filled this role in our family and she filled it with grace.
Theresa Ann Cavallin (Ginglo) loved her family with her entire heart and soul. Her shining blue eyes were filled with life, her smile infectious and her laughter contagious. Theresa was strong of faith and exemplified as a lifetime member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was passionate about volunteer work, which she carried out with the Hamilton Health Sciences and annual Holbrook Hospital Christmas party.
Theresa is predeceased by her beloved husband Bartolomeo and siblings Mary Codnick and Mike Ginglo. She is survived by her sister Frances, daughters Diane (Michael), Donna, Clara (Stephen, deceased), Rita (Larry), her grandchildren Robert, Lisa (Johnathan), Sara (Cam), Lindsey, Shawna (Mark), Ryan, Brittni, Zachery (Sarah), as well as her great-grandchildren Kiya, Addison, Aubrey, Noah and Lily, along with her special friends Pat and Mille. Theresa's in-laws who have been extra caring since Bart's passing are: Johnny, deceased; Julie, deceased (Joan); Louie (Amy, deceased); Luciano (Dina) and Lucy Charbonneau (Don). And special thanks to Lucy who talked with mom regularly and to Luciano who visited mom regularly and helped with numerous household chores. As Zachery would say, “She was the most beautiful light of our bulb”.
