It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Steven on October 8, 2022 at the age of 63. Beloved son of Steve and Katarina and younger brother Joe and his girlfriend Siri. He will be sadly missed by family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Steven was a long time employee of ArcelorMittal Dofasco. He took an early retirement so he could take care of his parents. During this time, he took a job as a bus driver at Attridge Transportation Inc., which he enjoyed very much. He also discovered golf later in his life which gave him immense happiness. He will be missed by all of us, but will stay in our hearts forever.
Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday October 16 from 5-7pm with Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Monday October 17 at 11am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery.
