Sheila Blake

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother Sheila Blake (formerly Eden), on Wednesday November 22, 2017, in her 92nd year. Sheila passed quietly in her sleep after a lengthy stay at the Juravinski Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Arnold Blake, Sister Irene Cumming (James) and son John Eden. Cherished mother of Gary Eden, Brent Eden (Karen), Glenn Eden (Sandy), and fondly remembered by grandchildren Ashley Eden (Mark), Erika Eden, Mitchell Eden, Shonna Eden, Harley Eden (Candice) and Beau Eden (Rebecca). She will be missed by nephews Chris Cumming (Pat) and Malcolm Cumming (Ginny). Beloved stepmother to Linda Turner (John), Robert Blake (Anuva), and step grandmother to David Bryant (Alison), Aaron Blake (Vanessa), Christopher Blake, Raymond Blake, Corrie Millar (Michelle) and Troy Bourgeois (Sarah). Sheila will be fondly remembered by 13 great grandchildren from the extended family. A special thank you to the staff and team at the Juravinski Hospital for assisting with our mother’s needs over the past two months. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Tuesday, November 28th at 3:00 p.m., followed by refreshments and snacks at the same location.
