Loving mother of Russell, Cathy, Lisa, and David. Sally is survived by her siblings Joyce and Danny, as well as thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her siblings, Angel, Bruce, Gordon and Larry, and her granddaughter Liberty.
On July 29th 2019, the unimaginable happened and the world lost a truly beautiful soul. To those who did not know Sally they would not understand why this is such an unimaginable event, but Sally was a warrior who survived raising her four children, breast cancer, and a slew of other health problems; it seemed as though nothing would ever be able to take her away from this world. Thinking back, her family knows that she didn’t stay all that time for the rest of the world. No, she stayed for them. She stayed for every kiss, every “I love you”, every “god bless” and of course, every song.
After 77 years on this earth Sally was crafted out of music, fire, and love. Not a day will go by that she won’t be missed, however, with every passing day, her family and all of the people she has touched will hear her songs in the rustling of leaves, or feel her kisses on the wind, and know she loved like the way the sun loves the sky, but every sunrise eventually leads to a sunset and Sally left with us her colours. We will see her blue every day in the sky and feel the undying love she had. We will see the reds every night and remember the fire, strength, and blood that she poured into this family, and we will know that that same strength lives within us. When the lilacs stretch across the sky we will remember the flowers she loved and know that she is growing all around us. When all seems like pink sky and mourning, she will remind us of the skies brightest moments before dawn. Then, just like how she taught us, we will rise again.
