It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Marie Harbour (née Schoenoff) announce her sudden passing on July 24, 2024 at the age of 79.
Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her son Mark Harbour, grandchildren Michael, Eric and Kathryn, sisters Nancy Armstrong (Tom - deceased), Virginia Jatnieks (Andy), John Harbour and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was pre-deceased by her parents Alfred and Katherine Schoenoff.
Ruth was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin on September 5, 1944, where she lived until attending The University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire majoring in English and Music. After living in Wyoming and Arizona, she moved to London, Ontario and later Oakville, Hamilton and eventually Burlington where she resided for the past 25 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all.
A private family celebration has already taken place. An official ceremony will be announced at a later date where she will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
