A trucker’s last dispatch - Stormin Norman took his last dispatch on Monday January 8, 2024. Another trip down a lonesome road – a trip that he has to make alone this time, destination unknown. Knowing Norm, he probably had a plan. Norm leaves behind a large loving family and a multitude of friends. He was a guy who loved his family and all of his friends. A man that didn’t know how to and couldn’t say “No” to anyone or to any situation. He was a true friend and trucker in every sense of the word. A “Class A” beloved husband of Dale McClure, cherished father of Shannon and her husband Brandon, and adoring grandfather to Dylan and Logan. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, brothers and friends. Memorial Service at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday January 16, 2024 at 11am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Loyal Order of Moose, 1860 Barton Street East, between Parkdale and Woodward Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
