It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mirko at the Juravinski Hospital on May 9, 2014 at the age of 75. Survived by his wife Marija (nee Vlaho). Dear father of Michael, Mary Anne (Drago), grandfather of Karlo and Valentina. Brother of Janko, brother-in-law of Katica and Mira. Will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Sincerest gratitude to all for the loving care of our dear father and grandfather. We will always remember his kind heart and feisty sense of humour. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 5-8pm with Vigil Prayers at 6:30pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11am. Private family interment.
