RN, BScN, BA. Passed away peacefully on December 6, 2016 at Emmanuel House. Loving wife of Paul for 42 years and mother of Sarah (Philip). Beloved grandmother of Aldous. Sister to Ann and the late Jim Wilson. Peggy graduated from Kingston Psychiatric Nursing School in 1970 and worked as a Registered Nurse at the HPH then later moved to the VON and CCAC until her retirement in 2005. Longtime member of Toastmasters International, Taoist Tai Chi Society of Canada and Soroptimist International. Peggy will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends. A special thanks to her medical team at the McMaster Family Health Centre and to the staff at Emmanuel House who helped her over this past year. A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at the CRESMOUNT FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton on Saturday December 17, 2016 from 2:00- 4:00p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations can be made in her name at Soroptimist.org or Emmanuel House.
