Ken completed his apprenticeship in tool and die-making in Manchester. He came to Canada in 1953. After a few jobs in the industry, he started working for International Harvester, now Case IH, where he worked in the inspection department.
KEN LOVED TO SING AND OTHERS LOVED TO LISTEN.
Ken was a founding member of The Burlington Light Opera Society (BLOS), now called Drury Lane Theatrical Productions (905-637-3979) where he sang in countless shows (many Gilbert & Sullivan). Ken also enjoyed singing with other choirs. Ken was accomplished at tennis and golf.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary Joan and his two sons: Jeff and David (Grace) and his two granddaughters Maria and Ella. Ken was a loving stepfather to Sheila (Brian), Paul, Lynn (Geoff), Joan and Jill (Tom), step grandfather to Jennifer (Taylor), Laura (Mark), Jessica, Katie and Angela and step great-grandfather to James.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Shalom Village for their care and kindness over the last 3 years.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 3rd at Marlatt Funeral Home, Swackhamer Chapel, 195 King Street West in Dundas. Visitation at 10 am and service at 11am.
